Glengesh Challenge, Sunday 29 January 2012

Posted: 17th January 2012 by Stephen in News

This fun event is run by Spires Sean McNicholl (on yer bikes) which is a 43 mile cycle from Killybegs to Killybegs via Glengesh Pass and further west.

Sean said  ”Hardly a hill on it. Really hard people will survive this challenge and so will the not so hard. Optional breakfast in morning at Killybegs followed by the gruelling cycle followed by dinner-optional too, but it would be great to support the locals”

Local cyclists will hopefully join us on this Epic ride. Hope to set off around 11am and back whatever time we ALL get back. There will be loads of support and backup so everyone welcome. A donation to charity would be lovely but not compulsory.

No one will be dropped. Everyone will wait at the top of the hills, if there are any hills.lol. Cycling Ulster chairman Tommy lamb will be gracing us with his presence, so the pace will be manageable for everyone.

Hope to see as many as possible.
